Introduction

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Clip Text Transform ("the application," "we," "our," or "us"), a macOS application for transforming text. By downloading, installing, or using the application, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the application.

License to Use the Application

Clip Text Transform is licensed, not sold, to you. When you obtain the application through the Apple App Store, your use is also governed by Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA). In the event of any conflict between these Terms and Apple's Standard EULA, Apple's Standard EULA will govern with respect to your use of the application obtained through the App Store.

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the application on any Apple-branded device that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use Clip Text Transform only for lawful purposes. You agree not to:

• Use the application in any way that violates applicable local, national, or international law
• Attempt to decompile, reverse-engineer, disassemble, or otherwise derive the source code of the application, except to the extent that such restriction is expressly prohibited by applicable law
• Use the application to process content that you do not have the right to process
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the application

User-Created Content

Clip Text Transform allows you to create custom scripts and to transform text of your choosing. You are solely responsible for the content you process and for any custom scripts you create. We recommend that you avoid entering sensitive personal information into custom scripts. For details on how custom script data is handled and masked, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

Converting Files

Clip Text Transform can convert files you have copied. It reads only the files on your clipboard, and it never modifies them: a conversion produces new files, which the application places on your clipboard for you to paste wherever you choose. Where those new files are kept, for how long, and what the History options change about that are described in our Privacy Policy.

Only plain text files are converted. Files in other encodings or formats are refused rather than converted approximately, and you are responsible for checking the result before replacing an original with it.

Privacy

Your use of Clip Text Transform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how the application handles information. By using the application, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the Privacy Policy.

Third-Party Services

Clip Text Transform uses Firebase services provided by Google (Analytics, Crashlytics, Remote Config, and Realtime Database) as described in our Privacy Policy. Your use of these features is subject to the applicable third-party terms. We are not responsible for the practices of any third-party services.

If you switch on iCloud Sync, Clip Text Transform stores a copy of your custom scripts and settings in your own iCloud account using Apple's iCloud key-value storage, as described in our Privacy Policy. That copy is held by Apple under your Apple ID and is subject to Apple's iCloud terms. We do not operate iCloud: whether it is available, how quickly changes reach your other Macs, and how much storage Apple allots to the application are outside our control, and syncing may pause while iCloud is unavailable or that storage is full.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Clip Text Transform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the application will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that any defects will be corrected.

You use the application at your own risk. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups of any important data.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Clip Text Transform, its developer, or its affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the application. This includes, without limitation, any loss of clipboard content, custom scripts, transformation History, converted files, or any other data, and any loss, duplication, or overwriting of data that results from merging changes made on different Macs through iCloud Sync.

Because text transformations modify content, you are responsible for verifying the results before relying on them. To the extent that liability cannot be excluded, our total liability shall be limited to the amount you paid for the application, if any.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the application after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

Termination

These Terms remain in effect while you use Clip Text Transform. You may stop using the application and delete it at any time. We may suspend or terminate your right to use the application if you fail to comply with these Terms.
